Expand Your Career Opportunities - Enroll in the Intro to Pharmaceutical Industry Elective

Over a 4 year period, there was a 60% increase nationwide in the number of graduating pharmacy students who were pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Are you interested in learning more about this potential career path? Are you planning on pursuing a a pharmaceutical industry fellowship and would like to enhance your understanding of the industry? Enroll in PP359 Intro to Pharmaceutical Industry elective which will meet from 3-4:50 PM on Tuesdays in the Spring semester! In addition to learning about different functional areas and developing and practicing skills for the pharmaceutical industry, you will have the opportunity to network with experts in many of the different functional areas at different pharmaceutical companies. Operation OTC x PPA OTC Literacy Competition

Operation OTC and PPA will be having the annual OTC Literacy Competition on Tuesday 12/10 at 2pm in STC 145, and it will be open to all P1s and P4s. This will be a jeopardy-style competition, and students can participate in teams of 3. The winning team will be representing PCP at PPA's OTC competition during their annual conference. In addition, P1s who participate will receive 1 point of extra credit for PRX350, and 2 points for winning.

PLS Self-Nominations Now OPEN!!

If you are interested in applying for Phi Lambda Sigma, the Pharmacy Leadership Society, please read the attached document to see the outlined process. The link to the self-nomination form is included in this document. Any student P1-P4 that is nominated by self or peer will receive an application in the beginning of the Spring semester. If you feel that you are deserving to be inducted into PLS, please fill out the form. You do not need to have multiple leadership positions to be deserving of a nomination. Leadership is shown through many different ways, so self-nomination is highly encouraged! The self-nomination form is due Friday, December 13th @11:59pm. China 2025!

Over the holiday weekend, the US State Department eased its travel advisory for China from Level 3 to Level 2 (which is good news!).

If you want to get more information about the proposed summer 2025 trip to Nanjing China, review the slides and recording of the meeting.
