Maggie Jones: Changing the Narrative on Substance Use Disorders: As a recent attendee of the APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) I encourage you to read about my experience and notes on SUD to prepare you for your practice experiences. Pharmacy Intern Positions Available! P1-P3 students: Apply for a position as a sterile compounding pharmacy intern at Pentec Health. Pentec Health is a large sterile compounding pharmacy located in Boothwyn, PA. Our compounding services are focused around renal nutrition and intrathecal specialty infusion. We are looking for a P1- P3 pharmacy student to minimally work every other Sunday for an 8 hour shift. We do have more hours available if students wish to work during the week or while on break. P1-P3 Students: Apply for the Walmart Health Equity Scholarship for Pharmacy Students! The Walmart Health Equity Scholarship for Pharmacy Students will be awarded to seven (7) outstanding Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree students who are accepted or enrolled in the professional curriculum at a U.S. college or school of pharmacy. Selected awardees must demonstrate leadership, academic success, and a commitment to serving rural or medically underserved patient populations. Each awardee will receive a single $5,000 scholarship. Geriatric Pharmacy Elective - PP 524 Fall Semester openings! Looking for a fun way to learn about medication management of older adults? Interprofessional care of the Geriatric Patient might be your course. Come join Prof Finn and explore geriatrics this fall in an interprofessional way.
