No images? Click here Hello, We hope you’re enjoying a weekend filled with Jubilee celebrations! On Monday 20th June, we will be joining children’s hospices across the country to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week – we’d love you to help us in spreading the word about the vital services we provide. Every single child, young person and family we support has their own incredible story. Everything we do is #ForTheChildren with life-threatening conditions – helping families facing an unimaginably difficult time. It’s thanks to you our expert care team is able to be by their side, supporting them every step of the way. We’ll be helping families share their story throughout the week, giving them a space to tell you about the massive impact our care makes. Keep an eye on our social media to see the difference your support is making. Together, we can continue to champion the vital work of children’s hospices and give families the care and support they need, for as long as they need it. Thank you. 400 miles in memory of Callum Ian Doe undertook an epic 400-mile bike ride in memory of his “brave, strong and positive” son, Callum, after he was diagnosed with an aggressive grade four brain tumour when he was just 13 years old. Very sadly, Callum died at the age of 15. His whole family were supported by us throughout, and Ian and Callum’s mum, Michelle, continue to receive bereavement support. Ian’s gruelling four-day bike ride took him from Wales to Lowestoft – an incredible achievement! Celebrate your special occasion with us With our personalised celebration pages you can make your birthday, wedding or anniversary extra special by raising money for the local children and young people we support. Create your own bespoke celebration page, share your reasons for supporting us and invite friends and family to post well-wishes, photos and to donate. It gave me a bit of confidence back so there were lots of reasons why it helped and why I’d recommend it to others.” We’re always on the lookout for new volunteers to join our EACH team in our shops across East Anglia. At the moment we are particularly looking for volunteers in Huntingdon, Halstead, Hadleigh, Bungay and Thetford (including our retail distribution centre). Could you spare some time to join our dedicated volunteers like Kath to support our shops? |
