We enjoy letting you know about the latest news from our teams, as well as making you aware of some of the more important information and our upcoming campaigns and awareness dates. This month, we're celebrating the positive results of our 2022 Staff Survey, where we scored above average in six of the national People Promise themes and equal the average score in one area. All staff were invited to complete the survey which reports against the seven NHS People Promises plus the themes of staff engagement and morale, to track national progress against the ambition to make the NHS the best workplace it can be. I would like to thank our Humbelievable team for their efforts during another challenging year for the NHS and for taking the time to share their thoughts and feelings with us. This is a set of results to be proud of, but what really stands out to me is the scale of improvement we have made as a Trust over the last five years. This is a result of the hard work and dedication of our teams to deliver the best possible patient care and make our Trust a fantastic place to work and grow your career. We hope you to enjoy our newsletter. If you have any comments, ideas for articles, or if you'd like to contribute to future editions, please email hnf-tr.communications@nhs.net. Thank you, Trust continues to build on positive results in staff surveyResults of the 2022 staff survey show that working at our Trust is already matching the aspirational experience for all NHS employers to reach by 2025 and is the third most improved provider of its kind in the country. Syeda Nudrat is a Cancer Champion with the Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance and started working for our Trust in September 2022 as an Improvement Project Lead through the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme. We wanted to learn more about the brilliant work Syeda has been doing and why she continues to dedicate herself to promoting awareness of cancer throughout her career. Can you help us to decide on the future name of our Community Mental Health Teams? Two years ago we asked those within our communities across Hull and East Riding if they think our Community Mental Health Team’s (CMHT's) require a name change. At that time around 60% of those asked told us that they thought that the name ‘Community Mental Health Team’ is clear and that it says what it is. In response to this feedback, at the time we did not change the name of our CMHTs. Since then, our CMHTs have seen significant changes through the development of our local Primary Care Mental Health Networks (PCMHNs). PCMHNs are teams of mental health professionals which sit within Primary Care working alongside GP practices, whilst also being integrated within our local CMHTs. It has been brought to our attention that a name change that brings together the CMHTs and PCMHNs would be beneficial to support the integration of the teams. Please complete this very short survey to help us decide the future name of our CMHTs – survey closing date March 17th. |
