Researchers capture stunning images of Ring Nebula

The James Webb Space Telescope has recorded stunning new images of the iconic Ring Nebula (Messier 57). The images were released Thursday by an international team of astronomers, including Western researchers.

Western Continuing Studies is offering five new courses: Excel Analytics: Tools and Techniques; Resolving Conflict at Work; Web Development Foundations; Spanish Essentials; and Travel Writing. Take one of the courses or combine them towards a certificate program this fall.

Visit the Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory and hear professor Els Peeters talk about the James Webb Space Telescope’s view of the Orion Nebula. Attendees can also look through telescopes, talk to astronomers and ask questions. No registration required.
