IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Interschools WA State Championships WILL proceed in accordance with the State Government COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Sport and Recreation (Community Sport).
Equestrian WA is in the process of developing a specific COVID-19 Safe Plan which will take into account any further Government directives closer to the date of the event.
If a School or College is unable to support entry under the school’s name, competitors may still compete as individuals and will be eligible for class placings, individual rider awards and to qualify to represent WA at the Australian Interschool Equestrian Championships. Where possible, Composite Teams may be formed for affected competitors for the purpose of Team Awards.
10 days until the close of entries. Entries close at 11.00 pm on Sunday 20 March 2022. Please ignore anything you have read about entries closing on 18 March 2022.
Please note that merchandise orders MUST be in by 14 March 2022.
The team Managers link will be updated soon.
Hopefully, all prospective competitors have the requisite qualifications for their discipline and classes. If an Exemption is needed, please apply as soon as possible to members@equestrianwa.org.au

FURTHER EXPLANATION ABOUT EVENTING & COMBINED TRAINING
It has been determined that riders may compete on the same horse or pony in Eventing (WAYER, Brigadoon) and in Combined Training, subject to compliance with the discipline Rules, at the upcoming EWA and Saddles Plus Interschools Equestrian State Championships in April 2022.
It is recognised this is a deviation from previous years. EWA has consulted with other States and this change brings the WA competition into line with the position taken by those other States.
