2024 Candidate Workshop

BOSSI hosted the annual candidate workshop at the Kurri Kurri TAFE campus on 10 and 11 May 2024. This year's event was a great success with 35 candidate surveyors and eight mentoring surveyors coming together to interact and learn about the examination and registration process from experienced professionals.

Thank you to the presenters who covered the competencies and expectations of the examiners and the Board, which included the topics of Urban Cadastral, Rural Cadastral, Strata and Community Title, Spatial Information, Town Planning, Engineering Design and Mining.

Board members and examiners led the sessions with candidates and provided the opportunity for candidates and mentors to review and discuss past projects and ask questions about the registration process for land and mining surveyors in NSW.

The attendees enjoyed the opportunity to network and engage with fellow candidates, BOSSI Board members and examiners over the two days. Thank you to the Institution of Surveyors NSW, who sponsored the Friday evening networking event.
