Please note - this alert has been reissued, as there was a problem with the registration link in the previous alert. We recently sent you a Provider Alert on the newly developed Comprehensive Health, Lifestyle Risk Factors and Oral Health Practice Alerts. This webinar will cover these and a range of newly developed NDIS Commission resources to assist you to implement the information to continue to improve your practices in quality and safe NDIS service provision. Please join us in a discussion about these new Practice Alerts, the new Worker Orientation Module “Supporting Effective Communication”, new Practice Review Guidance materials and amendments to the Practice Standards. We will also preview the NDIS Commission Masterclass webinar series, planned for 2022. The webinar agenda will feature the Acting Commissioner Ms Samantha Taylor and Senior Practitioner Dr Jeffrey Chan in conversation with Professor Julian Trollor, Chair of Intellectual Disability Mental Health, and Head of the Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry at the University of NSW. Professor Trollor wrote the report “Scoping Review of the causes and contributors to deaths of people with disability in Australia” for the NDIS Commission.
