We've officially opened the new and improved Richmond Kindergarten, providing local families access to a state-of-the-art education facility including:

🖍️ Nearly triple the capacity, from 56 to 132 children attending per week
🖍️ A new mural by First Nations artist Rebecca Atkinson
🖍️ Environmentally sustainable features like water harvesting and solar panels.

We’ve invested $2 million to this project, which has been supported by the Victorian Government with a $500,000 grant.

This week, we joined local community groups and service providers to officially launch Yarra Zero – a collaborative initiative addressing homelessness and rough sleeping in the area.

This project is guided by our Homelessness Strategy and brings local partners from housing, health and legal sectors together to provide a coordinated and compassionate response to people who are sleeping rough and experiencing homelessness.
