Prayer Promise"Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way,
count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus."
Romans 6:8-11 NIV

This Easter Whose Side Is He On? PASTOR'S BLOG In a world already irreparably fractured, Russia’s attacks on Ukraine over the last one month and three
weeks—chronicled across the earth through live video feeds—have diminished any hope of global healing. And yet many, who regard the pope as the most widely recognized religious leader in the world, harbor the hope Pope Francis might even yet this Easter spark a miracle of peace for the war in Ukraine, or at least a ceasefire. Procession of Hope This Sabbath One of our congregation's memorable traditions comes on Resurrection Sabbath (April 16) this weekend, when we pause in worship to remember Pioneer Family members who have fallen asleep in death between last Easter and this Easter. If you would like to remember your loved ones (whether once Pioneer members or not) and testify to your hope in Christ, please bring some cut flowers to worship
this Sabbath and place them at the foot of the cross in either service. (Flowers will also be provided.) "'For I am the resurrection and the life—they who believe in Me, though they die, yet shall they live'" (John 11:25). —Dwight K. Nelson
Grow Groups in the News One of our Wednesday evening Grow Groups coordinated a project to raise money for the new Oronoko Township trails and the park being built behind the Public Safety building. The group raised $1,200 and was featured in the Journal Era, a local newspaper. In the same issue, there is another story about a new sidewalk the group supported at the Berrien Springs Public Library – their project last
semester. Pioneer is grateful to be able to support our community through Grow Groups. Interested in leading or joining a Grow Group, visit pmchurch.org/grow to learn more.

Offering for April 16, 2022 Pioneer Operating Budget Love Without Boundaries John 3:17 "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him." We worship through regular and systematic giving because God gave us an example of love without boundaries. John 3:17 declares the nature and the scope of the mission of the Son: Jesus came to bring salvation, and He brought it to the whole world. Doing mission in the footstep of Jesus means embracing a universal mission. Among other things, the tithe and offerings plan provides us with an opportunity to participate in a global mission.
