What's On at The Keepers?New Group for Parents at The KeepersThe Keepers is proud to announce the start of a brilliant, new group using our space. Let us introduce them to you: "We are a support group run by parents for parents. The women who founded the group have experienced postnatal depression and anxiety, and know how challenging and isolating parenthood can be. Every week there will be a safe space, free of judgement to share - parenthood isn't easy and can be overwhelming. This support group is here to help. We will not be offering advice but are here to provide support through our shared experiences and backgrounds. If needed we can help point you to sources of support and/or advocate for you." ![]() The group will be meeting on Mondays from 9.15 - 10.45am Mondays* AgeUK Gloucestershire Springboard group * NEW: Wotton Area Parent Support Group from 9.15 - 10.45am Tuesdays * Online Skills 6-week Class - will run again in June and August * Chair Yoga class Wednesdays * The Keepers Drop-In Café * Job Club/GEM * P3 Drop In Thursdays * 'Welcome Space' run by Independence Trust and CALMHS * Qigong class * NHS and Independence Trust Social Prescribers Fridays * NEW: Rhyme with Me for 0-5 year olds - 10-10.50am with refreshments ![]() You can find all up-to-date activities for the current week and month on our website here: Updates: Town Hall Teas![]() The Keepers kept up its cake reputation by hosting Town Hall Teas on 17 April, all to raise vital funds for the continuing work at our Community Hub. Thanks to all our volunteer bakers and helpers on the day who contributed to making this a very sweet success! (see the photo at the top of this newsletter for how the cakes looked on the day!) We are stronger together!On 4 May, we spent time listening, sharing and connecting as part of Stroud Police’s Community Workshop alongside Wotton Town Council, Stroud District Council, The Door Youth Project, Gloucestershire Constabulary, the Stroud Neighbourhood Warden, Wotton Area CAN and Kingswood Neighbourhood Watch! ![]() Getting involved in this important community policing initiative New ways to recycle at The KeepersWe have a new recycling bin at The Keepers! Provided by Wotton Lions Club, you can now drop off your unwanted spectacles and hearing aids. You can also recycle pill blister packs in the bin. ![]() We love recycling at The Keepers!
