From the Rutherglen Visitor Information CentreHello everyone, What a fabulous King’s Birthday long weekend! We hope you are all now enjoying a well-earned breather after such a busy and successful few days. The weather was perfect and it was wonderful to see so many visitors out and about, soaking up our region’s country hospitality. At the Visitor Information Centre, we’re currently giving the interior a little refresh. New display racks are
being installed in the gift shop, which will help create a brighter, more inviting space—especially during these darker winter days. Have a wonderful fortnight ahead. The Rutherglen Visitor Information Centre team
Rutherglen is once again a finalist in the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards (Small Tourism Town category) and we're determined to go one step further this year after just missing out on the top three in 2025. Voting is now open and closes at 5pm on Friday 26 June. Every vote counts towards Rutherglen's overall score, so we'd love your support in helping us showcase everything that makes our town so special. Better still, everyone who votes goes into the draw to win a Melbourne getaway for two. Please help spread the word by displaying a poster, encouraging your customers and networks to cast their vote and sharing the campaign across your channels where possible. Let's all
get behind Rutherglen and show Victoria why it's one of the state's most outstanding tourism destinations. Go Rutherglen!
