We are writing to invite you to respond to our consultation on a draft business plan for the Burnley Business Improvement District (BID2).

The draft business plan is available on our website and has been developed by the Burnley BID Executive Board which includes representative businesses, organisations and stakeholders from across the town.

The current BID in Burnley, has been operational since 2020, and has been highly successful in delivering transformational change and improvements to the town over the last four and a half years. The current BID, namely BID 1, comes to an end on 31^st March 2024.

The business plan for Burnley Business Improvement District (BID2) will continue the work of BID 1 and provide businesses and organisations with the opportunity to manage £1m+ of further investment into Burnley over the next five years (2025 – 2030).

The BID2 draft business plan has been developed through an extensive consultation process that began in the Spring of 2024 and in collaboration with the BID Board steering group, encompasses projects which businesses and organisations have told us will have the greatest impact to further improve Burnley.

The consultation on the draft business plan is open until Friday 1st November 2024 and we would appreciate your feedback.  Please do take the time to digest the draft business plan and complete the online feedback form. Both elements are available to review by clicking the relevant buttons below.

Your feedback on the draft business plan is vital so that we can refine the final BID2 proposal which will go to ballot in February 2025.
