(dba Cellular One) On Friday, September 2, Congressman Tom O’Halleran (D-AZ) visited NATE member company Smith Bagley Inc. (dba Cellular One) at a Show Low, Arizona communications tower in the Congressman’s district. During the visit, Rep. O’Halleran – a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee – met with stakeholders from Smith Bagley Inc and observed key safety and training protocols. FCC Announces Over $81 Million in Emergency Connectivity Funding On Wednesday, September 7, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that it is committing over $81 million in a new funding round through the Emergency Connectivity Program to support students across the country connecting with their teachers and school support systems. “With students heading back to classrooms this fall, we need to make sure all our kids can connect with teachers and homework assignments when school ends for the day,” said FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel.
