SH76 Brougham Street upgrade

SH76 Brougham Street upgrade

3 March 2022

Thank you for all your feedback

Feedback has now closed on the State Highway 76 Brougham Street upgrades and we have started to consider all the comments.  It will take some time to do this thoroughly but so far, we are very pleased with the depth and breadth of the feedback we received.

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed. More than 200 people filled in a survey and around 70 people visited community drop-ins or joined us in an online zoom session to ask questions and to have a say on the draft plans. We received more than 750 comments on our interactive map. You can read what people had to say here.

Thank you for sharing your views and ideas – all your feedback will be very helpful as we firm up our plans for Brougham Street.

What happens next?

Our project team will analyse the feedback and share an engagement summary report in the next few months. We’ll use your thoughts and ideas to check our designs and make any necessary changes while we continue working with landowners and other key stakeholders.

We’ll update everyone again once we’ve made the final design changes and explain the next steps.

Have you seen our project video yet? It explains a lot of the changes we are suggesting. Video Link
