New Longitudinal Study Will Fill Gap in Data on Postpartum Health and Well-being

The Postpartum, Lifestyle & Cardiovascular Evaluation Study, a survey-based, online study led by Samantha Parker Kelleher, Idalis Chestnut, and BMC researchers will capture information about the health complications and social needs that patients experience after having a baby. Learn more.

 
 
 

RESEARCH

Disparities in Hepatitis C Testing Put Black, Asian Patients at Risk

A new study led by Breanna Biondi and Rachel Epstein has found that Asian and Black individuals are 25 percent less likely than White individuals to be tested for hepatitis C, and fewer than 10 percent of women with opioid use disorder who tested positive for hepatitis C virus received treatment for the virus.
