Winners announced for the 2025 NT Allied Health Excellence Awards

17 October 2025

Winners for the third Northern Territory Allied Health Excellence Awards have been announced at a ceremony at the Darwin Botanical Gardens.

Award nominations were open to all allied health professionals and allied health assistants or technicians who were employed in the NT at the time of nomination. An exception is the Allied Health Honour Roll award, which accepts nominations for people who have recently retired.

Minister for Health Steve Edgington said the awards recognised and rewarded the outstanding contributions and performance of allied health professionals working across the Territory.

“Congratulations to all the award winners and finalists. The Territory’s Allied health professionals do an amazing job helping keep Territorians out of hospital and reducing the burden of chronic disease.

“Allied Health is the third largest clinical workforce in the Northern Territory, with specialities spanning from across a wide number of professions from medical imaging and social work to pharmacy and audiology.

"Across towns, regions and remote communities, allied health professionals are on the front line of keeping Territorians well,” Mr Edgington said.

Nominations were submitted by industry peers and stakeholders, including other health professionals, work colleagues, managers and employers. The awards received nominations from across all five NT regions.
