We are moving

Integration of Healthway and Lotterywest by June

Work has progressed with the coming together of Healthway and Lotterywest. The integration is focused on delivering benefits for the community; building synergies between the two organisations; and supporting great projects which help build a better Western Australia. From 3 April, Healthway staff will be co-located with Lotterywest at Level 2, 38 Station Street, Subiaco. Find our new contact details on the website.

Congrats Peak Trampoline

Gymnastics WA, with the support of Healthway, awards the Go for 2&5 Plate Award to a club that provides healthier options to improve the health and wellbeing of its members. Last month Peak Trampoline was recognised for their invaluable efforts in changing the food and drink culture at its club. Find out more.

Creatively challenging kids

Healthway, through Go for 2&5, supports AWESOME Art's Creative Challenge, which gives children and young people in regional and remote communities the opportunity to learn about healthy eating and tell their stories through art. Bootscooting your way to better health

Healthway was proud to partner with the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival to promote LiveLighter. The message was heard loud and clear as patrons danced the weekend away and had plenty of healthy food and drink options to refuel the body. Find out more.

Student mental health support

Healthway and the Perth Festival have developed an interactive education program on positive mental health for students, such as the new Perth Festival Play Book. The book introduces them to Act-Belong-Commit through engaging art activities. Find out more.

Little Athletics set for better health

Little Athletics WA, in partnership with Healthway, is embracing heathy eating and drinking at its clubs with canteens selling healthier options. This month's State Little Athletics Championships promoted Go for 2&5 and its Facebook page is also helping to spread the word. See how.

Participate in a focus group

Curtin University and Healthway are developing new healthy lifestyle messages that can be used in a sponsorship and health promotion setting. If you have attended a Healthway sponsored sports or arts event, you are invited to take part in a focus group and receive $80 for your time.
