Hurricane Relief—Help Needed

Florida needs our help. Hurricane Ian has been named "the deadliest storm to hit [Florida] since 1935." Relief workers are working tirelessly to help Florida residents and businesses pick up the pieces and begin the long road to recovery after massive damage from category 4 Ian. At least 68 persons from FL have lost their lives and about 25% of the State (2.7 million customers) lost electricity. The devastation is estimated at more than $60 billion in private insured losses just in Florida.
Adventist Community Services is working with FEMA to set up warehouses and distribution centers. They need our help. They need money now. To donate, give directly to the Florida Conference using the link below or mark your tithe envelope for HURRICANE RELIEF. Thank you for caring. Thank you for giving. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Dinner Teams 

Pioneer's fellowship dinner teams need additional members to help with the Sabbath fellowship dinners. Teams serve about three times a year. You don't need to know how to cook to be on a team. There are many ways you can be involved and enjoy the ministry together. Contact the church office at 269-471-6565 to sign-up.

Hospitality from the Heart

Does “hospitality“ feel intimidating? We invite the women of our community to explore the heart of biblical hospitality and creative ways to practice it, no matter your gifts or circumstances. Andrews Academy Alumni Weekend

October 14 & 15

Andrews Academy invites you to Alumni Weekend! Come and reunite with your AA family. Remember the defining moments of your past and reconnect with old friends. We look forward to seeing all of you once again at our Alumni Reunion! (All are invited, this year’s honored classes end on 2 and 7). No Friday Vespers. Saturday 10:00 AM, Sabbath School & Roll Call at 11:15 AM. Alumni Worship Convocation followed by honor class photographs & haystack lunch. Shydepoke 8:00 PM at AU Field.

Love on the Move - God's Hands 4 Kids

God's Hands 4 Kids is a ministry that started as a Pioneer Grow Group. We work closely with Berrien County DHHS. We maintain their "Closet" that has an inventory of clothes and other essentials that are available to workers 24/7. Many kids come into care with nothing except what they have on. We are currently collecting new underwear and pajamas. There is a collection bin in the lower Pioneer lobby. Items can be dropped off at RMES. We have other local 24/7 drop-off locations. Contact with us can be made through GH4K.org.

Reminder: Save-the-Date

This is a "Save-the-Date" announcement for the Church Board. Neighbor To Neighbor's triennial constituency meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 4:30 PM. All board members are invited. Reports on the operation, past financial standing, and future strategic direction will be presented. A hot meal will be served. Please plan to be there.

Servicepersons Prayer

Praying for our Servicepersons. As I reflect on my 20 years of Air Force service, one thing was missing that would have been very comforting-the knowledge that my home church, or some church, took my name, me, to the Lord at every weekly service. The Lutheran Church for which I have played every Sunday has a list of military people in the weekly bulletin which the congregation read as part of the prayer. Our Church leaders have agreed that a form of this would be meaningful to
Service-people who are relatives or friends of some of us. If you will submit names of Service-persons known or related to you we will pray for them weekly. Send them to James North, Jr. at jamesn@andrews.edu or to members@pmchurch.org.

Lev. 17:5a “This is so that the Israelites will bring their sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the Lord, at the entrance to the tent of meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings.” We bring our regular offerings and tithe to church because it is part of true worship.
