Trust News More Staff Than Ever Would Recommend Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust as a Place to WorkOn 12 March 2026, the latest NHS Staff Survey results were released illustrating how staff would rate the NHS organisation they work for. Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust have achieved the top spot for each of the NHS People Promise themes, within the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care System (ICS) region for NHS Trusts. It has also shown that over 70% of our staff would recommend the Trust as a place to work, a figure that has seen growth year on year. Trust is Top Performer in National League TablesThe NHS has published its latest Oversight Framework results for Quarter 3 (October–December), which provide a national picture of how Trusts are performing across England. We are pleased to share that our Trust has now moved into segment one, the highest of the four performance segments. This is an important milestone and reflects the dedication of our staff and the continued improvements across our services. Learning Disabilities Inpatient Unit Achieves ‘Good’ CQC ReportTownend Court in Hull was assessed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in November 2025, and the results have been released to show they rated it as ‘Good’.Townend Court is an inpatient service, run by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, providing assessment and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities from across Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire and North-East Lincolnshire. It was last assessed in 2019 and was also rated ‘Good’ then. Updates on GP Practice Transitions in Cottingham, Bridlington and Market WeightonHumber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is transitioning GP services at Market Weighton Practice, King Street Medical Centre in Cottingham, and Humber Primary Care in Bridlington to new providers due to changes in the national primary care model. Patients do not need to take any action. Health Stars’ Community Grant Scheme Hits Halfway Point with £100,000 Awarded to Local CausesHumber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and its charity, Health Stars, have reached the important halfway milestone of their Community Grant Scheme. So far, the scheme has supported over 20 charitable organisations across Hull and East Yorkshire, awarding more than £100,000 of the available £200,000 to groups working to improve adult mental health and wellbeing in local communities. Psychologists are a vital part of the system and this week the Trust welcomed 45 psychology students from Wyke 6th Form College for an inspiring and informative event with psychological staff in the Trust. The format of the day was varied and diverse with students taking part in interactive workshops with a range of experienced psychological professionals, including Clinical and Trainee Psychologists, a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, Principal Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead. Band 2: Medical Records Administration Assistant - Willerby A vacancy has arisen for a 37.5 hour full time Administration Assistant within the Health Records Department, based at Mary Seacole Building, Willerby Hill, Beverley Road, Willerby. The post involves dealing with requests for medical records and use of computer systems for retrieval and recording of data. This entails the retrieval and dispatch of files to and from other units within the Trust. Band 7: Clinical Team Lead - Hull We have an exciting opportunity to join the ECT and Clozaril department at Humber as the Team Lead / Clinical Lead – which will cover clinical and operational duties. We would welcome applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses, General Nurses and Learning disability Nurses. The need for experience within mental health is essential. Friends and Family Test The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. It provides a mechanism to highlight patient experience and is vital in transforming NHS services, supporting patient choice and implementing changes based on your feedback. Each month we will be sharing patient experiences from our different services, alongside a patient comment. 88.7% of respondents (1,454 total) thought they were involved in their care and listened to within the Community and Primary Care Division in February. "They explained in layman's terms what and why, he gave some great advice and was really knowledgeable and professional."
