Welcome to the Penn International Family!The Office of New Student Orientation & Academic Initiatives (NSOAI) would like to officially congratulate you on your admission to the University of Pennsylvania! New Student Orientation (NSO) for all incoming first-year undergraduate students will begin with mandatory activities on the evening of Wednesday, August 23. In addition, as an international student, you will be participating in International Student Orientation (ISO). This programming starts on Monday, August 21 and will prepare you for your exciting transition to Penn and college life this fall. This programming is hosted in partnership with Penn Global’s International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office who provides immigration services and integration programming to the Penn international community, and the Assembly of International Students (AIS) which is the University’s student-led umbrella organization for undergraduates of global backgrounds. Move-InAll international students are welcome to move in on Monday, August 21. By moving in on Monday, you will be able to take part in programming specifically designed to prepare you to thrive in the upcoming years. More details about these programs are coming soon! Once you have confirmed your housing, you will be able to select a move-in time slot for August 21. Specific questions about housing can be directed to living@upenn.edu. ReminderForerunner 2023 GlobalOn August 3 and 4, 2023, Forerunner Global, a virtual event, will introduce you to your life at Penn. Join Penn staff, faculty, current students, and fellow incoming students from around the world for a two-day program during which you'll learn about some of the many resources Penn has to offer! You'll have the opportunity to ask your questions directly to Penn staff, faculty, and students. Registration will open in mid-July. Stay ConnectedStay connected with us!
