The Student Experience Office (SEO) is now hiring Summer Orientation Leaders! These are full-time, paid positions from May to September. Apply by Monday, February 26, 2024, at noon.

 

Colonel By Classic

The annual Colonel By Classic game between the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton men’s hockey team will be at TD Place on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Come watch the cross-town rivals in their battle for this year’s title! Student tickets are on sale for $15.

Carleton’s Free Tax Clinic is Open for Students

Are you worried about filing your 2023 taxes? Don’t be! The Sprott Tax Students' Association (STSA) is here to help with their annual tax clinic. All tax returns are filed at no cost.

Fill out the tax clinic's client intake form and the tax clinic team will review it to determine if your tax return is within the scope of the tax clinic. You will be emailed a link to book an appointment between Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Kinàmàgawin Symposium

The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement is hosting the fifth annual Kinàmàgawin Symposium on Thursday, February 8, 2024. The day-long symposium includes keynote speakers, panel discussions and a cultural performance focused on the theme Connecting to Indigenous Spirituality: Learning from the Land, Community, and Culture.

Menstrual Hygiene Products Available Across Campus

Free menstrual products are now available in washrooms in MacOdrum Library, Nideyinàn, Tory Building, Southam Hall, Minto CASE, Nicol Building, Richcraft Hall and Azrieli Theatre. Information and resources on reproductive rights and sexual health through CUSA’s Flowing Rights campaign are available in these washrooms as well.

This month our community is celebrating Black History Month, an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the cultural diversity and achievements of Black Canadians. Visit the Black History Month webpage throughout the month to celebrate and highlight Black leadership, achievements and experiences.
