The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released the preliminary revised causes of death data including deaths by suicide in 2023. This revised data replaces the original data released by the ABS, Thursday, 10 October 2024.

Suicide postvention refers to coordinated activities that support those bereaved by suicide. The authors of this scoping review aimed to determine which suicide postvention service models and guidelines have been shown to be effective in reducing distress in family, friends and communities following a suicide.
