A sincere thank you for your hard work, dedication and all that you have done, and continue to do, to keep our residents – and each other – safe and cared for during these very challenging times. It is largely because of your ongoing diligence with wearing the full PPE, carefully donning and doffing, and following the required infection control measures that this outbreak has been so well managed at the home. Please know that your effort on the frontlines of this outbreak, and the pandemic more broadly, have not gone unnoticed and are greatly appreciated – by Calvary and by the residents’ loved ones. Day-to-day care has been provided from behind uncomfortable face masks, shields, protective gowns and gloves, sometimes in extreme conditions. We know this has not been easy. It is inspiring to see that in times like these, our staff are truly living the Calvary values and being for others. Founded in 1885 by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, Calvary is a charitable, not-for-profit, Catholic health care organisation. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate health care to the most vulnerable, including those reaching the end of their life. With over 18,000 staff and volunteers, we have a national network of 14 Public and Private Hospitals, 72 Residential Care and Retirement Communities and 19 Community Care service centres. |
