Following a successful summer internship, she currently works as a graduate research assistant for a study focusing on cervical cancer prevention. State of the University Address Highlights Public HealthInterim President Teresa K. Woodruff celebrates the Spartan community’s achievements and addresses MSU’s shared aspirations and strategic priorities. The sustainable health section of her address highlights the $25 million Mott Foundation grant that led to the expansion of our public health presence in Flint and becoming the new Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health led by Wayne McCullough as Chair. Also featured was the public health work of Jennifer Johnson who is working with Henry Ford Health and others to advance equity, health care access, and outcomes on grant-funded research that focuses on maternal mental health and suicide prevention.
