State Highway 2 & State Highway 29A: Truck and trailer movements through site access points to move construction plant and deliver materials. No traffic delays expected. From Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm, Friday, 9am to 12pm.
State Highway 29A Eastbound: Barrier remedial works. Left lane closure. Sunday 24 May, from 8pm to 5am.
State Highway 2 Maunganui/Girven Road Roundabout: Sheet pile removal and barrier remedial works. Right lane closure around the roundabout. Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 May, from 8pm to 5am.
Advance notice of significant works
State Highway 29A, both directions: Concrete barrier removal. Right lane closure. Tuesday 2 June to Thursday 4 June, from 8pm to 5am.

Long-term traffic management

State Highway 2 Maunganui Rd: northbound signalised pedestrian crossing is installed for the public to get into the underpass and access the Bayfair Shopping Centre.

State Highway 2 between Te Maunga intersection and Concord Avenue: narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.

Bayfair roundabout: a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.

Matapihi Road, adjacent to the golf driving range: narrowed lanes and a 30km/h temporary speed restriction is in place for the duration of the project.

Girven Road, near the Bayfair roundabout: narrowed lanes are in place for the duration of the project and the right-turn from the Bayfair Shopping Centre car park onto Girven Road is permanently closed.

State Highway 29A near Baypark: narrowed lanes and a 50km/h temporary speed restriction are in place for the duration of the project.

State Highway 2 Papamoa-bound slip lane at the Te Maunga intersection is permanently closed.
