Staff Update: Calvary Central Park COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over

Date:   13 May 2022

To:       All Staff – Calvary Central Park

From:  Elizabeth Ngari, Acting General Manager Aged Care

I am pleased to inform staff that all tested Calvary Central Park residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary Central Park.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary Central Park will welcome visitors back into the home from 13 May 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary Central Park is open to visitors from 13 May 2022.
  • There is no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors may be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home.

Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Your hard work is appreciated.

We all look forward to receiving more visitors back into the home.
