Hello Class of 2025!
We hope move-in has started smoothly for those who came today! Below you'll find more information about today's events. Events marked [M] are mandatory. Please wear a mask at all orientation events.
For today’s weather, we're expecting a mostly sunny, hot, and humid forecast, with a high of 95 degrees.

President and Provost’s First-Year Family Welcome
College Green | 4:45pm-5:30pm
First-Year families join President Amy Gutmann and Interim Provost Beth Winkelstein for remarks at the steps of College Hall. Light refreshments to follow under the tent on Penn Commons.

Hub@Penn Family Welcome Picnic
Penn Commons | 11am-1pm
Enjoy a picnic to welcome Penn students and families. This event is the lunch option for the day.
Penn Libraries Showcase
Van Pelt Library | 12pm-2pm
Explore Penn's main library which serves as a hub for group study and research.

Student attendance required for College House meetings and activities with House staff. Check with your RA, GA, or House Dean for more info.
Moving In Information
Move-in for first-year students will occur Tuesday, August 24 and Wednesday, August 25.

Specific Population Programming
While all new students are invited to take part in NSO from August 25-30, there is also some specific population programming happening this week. Be sure to use the filters on our NSO Events Calendar to find out about events that are specifically curated for you!
COVID-19 Reminders
Upon arrival to campus, all students must be tested once for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status. Click here to register for your gateway COVID-19 test.
