We're starting to see a change.  It's not happening overnight, but for those of us who were at Celebrate West Hartford this past weekend, we saw a glimpse of what West Hartford could be someday. 

Our booth was incredibly busy with traffic from parents, children and residents from every corner of the town.  We added dozens of voters to our subscriber list, we registered several new voters as Republicans, we handed out campaign literature and we even managed to hand out Republican elephant stickers and over 500 balloons to kids at the event.  It was heartwarming to see a sea of red, West Hartford Republican Town Committee balloons roll all across the Town Hall yard.  It was wonderful to see candidates Dominic Rapini (candidate for Secretary of State), Harry Arora (candidate for State Treasurer), Jessica Kordas (candidate for State Attorney General) and Anastasia Yopp (candidate for State House Representative, 20th District) having great conversations with everyone at the event.  We also had representatives from the Themis Klarides for U.S. Senate and Bob Stefanowski for Governor campaigns.  They all had positive feedback about the event.  It was also great to have our Town Council representatives Alberto Cortes and Mark Zydanowicz there along with Ethan Goldman and Dr. Gayle Harris from our Board of Education.

But wait, there's more!  We also had an incredibly successful Lincoln/Reagan Dinner back on Thursday, June 2nd.  It was a packed house with friends, family and business associates filling up Rockledge Grille.  We heard from passionate candidates, Anastasia Yopp, Larry Lazor (candidate for U.S. Congress, First District), and Mary Fay (Town Council Minority Leader and candidate for State Comptroller) giving us an update about their campaigns.  Then, to top it all off, we heard from our Keynote Speaker, Bob Stefanowski.  It was great to hear how much his campaign is ahead of where he was when he ran a few years ago.  His speech really motivated the crowd.  

A big "Thank You" to all those who purchased tickets for our Lincoln/Reagan Dinner and stopped by at our booth at Celebrate West Hartford!

With all this going on, we have even more on the way.

In that spirit, we invite you to attend our West Hartford Republican Town Committee meeting for June.  The meeting will be held this Monday, June 20, at 7pm ET in the West Hartford Town Hall, fourth floor, Room #400.  You can click on the buttons below to see the latest agenda for our June meeting and our meeting minutes from our May meeting.

We will mention and read excerpts on the significance of Juneteenth.

We continue to grow and add new members, come meet us and see how you can get involved with what's going on in West Hartford.

We have an opening on our Executive Team for Vice Chairman.  If you're interested, please email me to let me know at chair@whgop.org.

We will be having a booth at the West Hartford Pride Celebration on June 25th.  Come learn how you can be involved with us for this event.

We will also be planning a Fall BBQ.  It's a great time to help our RTC while having dinner and drinks with old and new friends!

We will also be discussing strategies to help implement our four pillar platform with our elected officials and discuss how we plan to find new candidates to run for open office positions this November.
