Central Australian Suicide Prevention Forum supports connection and knowledge sharing in remote communitiesThe Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA) hosted the Suicide Prevention Forum in June, providing an opportunity to connect, share learnings from local programs that are working on addressing suicide, and have collective discussions that support reducing suicides in the community.

Australian Bureau of Statistics releases 2021 Causes of Death, Australia data The ABS released the latest Causes of Death data for 2021 on Wednesday, 19 October 2022. NCIS releases fact sheet on intentional self-harm deaths of farmers and farm workers Upon examination of 730 deaths reported to the coroner in Australia, the National Coronial Investigation System data found that there is an average of 38 intentional self-harm deaths in farmers in Australia each year.
