Staff Update: Calvary St Catherine’s Outbreak Declared Over

I am pleased to inform residents and families that all tested Calvary St Catherine’s residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to declare the outbreak over and lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary St Catherine’s.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary St Catherine’s will welcome more visitors back into the home from tomorrow 07 May 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary St Catherine’s is open to visitors from 07 May 2022.
  • There is now no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day, however only two (2) visitors may visit at one time. Visitors must adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  • We ask that visitors book their visit with us for now. To book, visitors can contact by calling (08) 8582 9600 or email admin.berri@calvarycare.org.au
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors will be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home.

Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Your hard work is appreciated.

We all look forward to receiving more visitors back into the home.
