The LCA's Victoria–Tasmania District has elected Pastor Brett Kennett as its next bishop. Currently serving as the District's Pastor for Congregational Support,
Bishop-elect Brett says he takes up the call with ‘gratitude, a sense of responsibility, and trust in God who calls us to serve’. He succeeds Bishop Lester Priebbenow, who did not stand for re-election and will retire after serving as district bishop since 2017. The convention also elected Pastor Hans Peethala as assistant bishop. Read more
