Fancy winning a £30 voucher?

We've hidden some snowmen in this newsletter - how many can you find? Send your guess to Communications@ParadigmHousing.co.uk by 3pm on 24 December, and a correct guess drawn from Santa's hat will win a £30 voucher!

This one doesn't count, but he's who you're looking for!

Christmas opening hours

Our offices will close at 3pm on 24 December. They will reopen at 8am on 2 January 2026.

In an emergency (when there is an immediate health and safety risk to you or your home, or the structure of your home has been damaged), please call our usual number, 0300 303 1010, and you will be redirected to our out-of-hours service, who will be able to arrange the help you need.

If you have an open anti-social behaviour (ASB) case with us, please continue to record evidence using the ASB App and we will review it when we reopen in January.

For anything else, email ContactUs@ParadigmHousing.co.uk and we'll get back to you in the New Year. To raise a routine/non urgent repair, email Repairs@ParadigmHousing.co.uk.

Your feedback on our performance

Since April 2023, all social landlords have used Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) to report performance in a clear, standard way. We also publish our results quarterly so you can see how we’re doing throughout the year.

We're pleased to share that, compared with the same period last year, satisfaction has improved across almost all measures for residents who rent from us.

Click here to see the full results from the last quarter.

We’ve also set up a Resident Steering Group for Settle and Paradigm residents to help review performance and shape the future of our communities and services. Keep an eye out - they’ll be sharing updates and insights soon.

Report communal repairs via MyParadigm

We're pleased to share that you can now report communal repairs directly through the MyParadigm portal. When submitting a repair request, you'll see a new option allowing you to choose between your home address or the block address. If the issue is not inside your home, please select the block address instead.

To help us resolve your request quickly and efficiently, please provide as much detail as possible when reporting repairs. Click here to sign in to your MyParadigm account, or set one up.

Staying #SaferTogether this festive season

Many people enjoy the festive cheer that a Christmas tree and decorations can bring to a home, but these can act as extra fuel for a potential house fire. Here are our top tips for how you can stay safe over Christmas and into the New Year:

Ensure you switch off and unplug fairy lights before you go to bed or leave the house.
Don’t overload sockets. Only use one plug per socket. Always turn off plugs when they are not in use, except those that are designed to stay on, like freezers.
Don’t leave your gifts in windows, or where they can be seen from outside of your home.
Ensure you have a working smoke alarm installed on all levels of your home. Test your smoke alarms weekly, and never remove batteries to power presents!

Taking a few simple precautions now can help keep your home safe and festive this Christmas 🎄

Being mindful this New Year's Eve

As New Year approaches, please be mindful of noise levels during celebrations. Loud music, late-night parties, and fireworks can affect neighbours nearby, especially children, older adults, and pets.

A few simple ways to be mindful:

  • Keep music and voices at a reasonable level, especially late at night.
  • Let your neighbours know if you’re hosting a gathering.
  • Clean up promptly after any outdoor celebrations.
  • Be extra careful with fireworks and sparklers.

We're here to support you

The festive season can bring extra challenges, especially when it comes to finances - but you don’t have to face them alone. If you’re feeling concerned, give us a call. We can connect you with helpful support services, such as Citizens Advice, or refer you to local food banks.

We know that energy bills are a concern for many at this time of year. If you're falling behind with your energy bills and finding yourself struggling to pay, the best thing to do is contact your supplier as soon as possible. Under rules from regulator Ofgem, your supplier has to help you – usually by negotiating a payment plan that you can afford. MoneySavingExpert has some great advice, which you can read here. You can also call us on 0300 303 1010 - we can offer advice and refer you to partners who can help.

And don't forget our support hub. It's jam-packed with useful tips and links to organisations who offer advice and practical help on a wide range of issues.
