Deadline to Withdraw and Grade Replacement is 11/25!
As a reminder, the deadline to withdraw from a fall course and submit a Grade Replacement Form is November 25th. Please speak to your advisor prior to submitting either form. SCCP's Pharmacy Olympics!!
SCCP is hosting the first ever pharmacy olympics event! Everyone that competes automatically gets free Chick fil a. Participants also have a chance to win a JBL speaker or 32 oz water bottle that holds both hot and cold liquid if they come in first or second place. All events are based on P1 skills so anyone can win! It will be $6 to compete. 11/14

History of Pharmacy Elective Spring 2025
A new History of Pharmacy elective is being offered in the spring semester. The course is open to all students in PCP. This course introduces students to the history and development of the Profession of Pharmacy with special emphasis placed on US history and the role of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in the development of the profession. Students will explore the growth of professionalism and professional organizations, professional practice, commercial and industrial growth, pharmacy education and the sciences. The course will use literature and narratives to foster an interest in history and better understand the impact of leaders and entrepreneurs on the development of the profession. A unique aspect of the course will be utilizing items from the Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy, the PCP rare book collection and a tour of the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia! We will read and discuss four different books over the course of the semester: Needles by Andie Dominick, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, and The Quiet Room: A Journey Out of the Torment of Madness by Lori Schiller and Amanda Bennett. Zoom and recording option added for China 2025 Information Session on Tuesday
Join us for an information session on Tuesday, November 12th from 2-3 PM in IPEX 307 to discuss a planned two-week excursions trip to Nanjing China in July/August 2025.
