The study requirement for a Temporary Graduate visa (TGV) has changed

The Temporary Graduate Visa (TGV) program has three streams:

  • Post-Vocational Education Work (PVEW) stream
  • Post-Higher Education Work (PHEW) stream
  • Second Post-Higher Education Work stream

The stream an applicant is eligible for depends on the qualification they use to apply for the Temporary Graduate visa (Subclass 485).

Invitation: Workshop on improved Study Australia Course Search Tool

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) has partnered with Year13 Pty Ltd (Year13) to deliver an improved Study Australia Course Search tool via the Australian Course Information Register (ACIR). The Course Search tool continues to assist international students in exploring Australian study options while providing education and training providers with prospective student leads. 

Education and training providers in NSW are invited to attend this free online Course Search workshop.

Anti-Discrimination NSW has developed downloadable toolkits and resources to help education providers create inclusive and supportive environments for international students. These toolkits offer practical guidance on addressing discrimination, fostering diversity, and promoting positive student experiences. We encourage institutions to explore these resources and implement best practices to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all students.

Passion for dance and community service: A champion of culture and inclusivity

Since arriving in Sydney, Cristina has enriched her academic journey while fostering a vibrant community spirit. As a dedicated volunteer with SALSA NSW, Cristina teaches dance to the elderly and supports the organisation with various tasks. Her performance at the STARS gala for the Cancer Council showcases her proactive approach to societal issues. Cristina’s initiative to offer free salsa sessions at Greenwich College promotes cultural exchange and inclusivity. Her second-place Judges' Choice award at the STARS competition further highlights her impact and dedication.
