Welcome Back: Wellness Support

Welcome back, Ravens! Returning to classes and routines after the fall break can be exciting and challenging. This is a busy time of year, and supporting your mental health and wellness is key. Any member of the community who needs support can access many resources at Carleton.

Sexual Violence Policy Review

The Sexual Violence Policy Review is undergoing a broad and inclusive consultation process and Carleton encourages all students to submit feedback through our consultation website, by email or through information and feedback sessions. Coordinated Accessibility Strategy Renewal 

Carleton University is renewing its Coordinated Accessibility Strategy and students are encouraged to share their insights to help shape the future of accessibility at Carleton. You can participate by providing feedback through an anonymous online feedback form, attending an open consultation session or requesting a closed session by emailing the Accessibility Strategy team. Please join us in renewing our commitment to a more accessible and inclusive Carleton.

Global Opportunities Fair

Interested in travelling as part of your university experience? The Global Opportunities Fair on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. offers you a chance to learn more about your options for international experiences and services at Carleton. The fair will feature staff from different organizations and departments to highlight how their services, processes and experiences can benefit you.

Tips For a Safer Halloween

Halloween is this Thursday, October 31, 2024! While this is an exciting celebration of creativity and candy, it also carries some risk. Check out this list of tips to help you have a safer Halloween.

 

Ancillary Fee Referenda

The 2024 writ of election for ancillary fee referenda has been issued.

Question for all undergraduates: Athletics Fitness Centre Expansion Fee: Due to overwhelming demand for the Fitness Centre, Carleton Athletics is proposing a $39/term fee to fund an expanded facility.

Question for full-time undergraduate Computer Science students: Carleton Computer Science Society is proposing a $2.50/term levy to support the demand for student organized Computer Science related events and services.

Vote by online ballot through your cMail on Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Planned Web Service Outages

There will be scheduled disruptions to ITS services for software upgrades on Friday, November 1, 2024 at noon to Monday, November 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Carleton Central and MC1 services will be unavailable, among others.   

 

U-Pass and Para Transpo

If you have a U-Pass and use Para Transpo services, please contact OC Transpo at 613-560-5000 to link your Campus Card to your Para Transpo account. Please have your Para Transpo ID and student number ready when calling.

 

Off-Campus Parking Options Available

Parking Services has confirmed a number of off-campus parking options available to Carleton students within a 10 minute walk to the university. Carleton University is not affiliated with the parking options and anyone who chooses to use these options does so at their own risk.
