Ministry of Health (MoH) Update On 25 November, Minister Verrall announced that rapid antigen tests would be available to the public under supervision by community pharmacies from Wednesday, 15 December. Since then, the Ministry of Health has been working closely with the Pharmacy sector to develop the rollout of rapid antigen
testing to the community. In addition, those who are travelling from other parts of the motu with a transport company will also be required to carry evidence of a negative test result. These tests will be free from 15 December to 31 January and will be available at selected pharmacies throughout the country. The Healthpoint website will provide details of which community pharmacies will be
offering this service. My Vaccine Pass Hei whakamaumahara anō, the use of the My Vaccine Pass is critical under the new system. Whānau who are fully vaccinated and have not yet requested their pass can retrieve this from the My COVID Record website. We believe this is one of the fastest and easiest options. For whānau that do not have internet access, you can call the 0800 222 478 vaccination line who can provide you with a copy of your vaccine pass. COVID-19 vaccination pharmacies can also print vaccine passes. The MoH are also investigating how they may enable other organisations (including community groups) to print vaccine passes for whānau. Ministry of Education (MoE) Update: Boundary exemption has been gazettedAn exemption to allow travel across boundaries for those associated with a Kōhanga Reo or early learning service has now been published.
