U2 students sign up for your PERC Interview now! All U2 students expecting to start their P1 year in Fall 2023 must have a PERC Interview. This is a competency based interview that is required to progress into the P1 year. Interviews will begin on Monday, October 3, 2022, and continue through Monday, October 31, 2022. APhA's Operation Mental Health General Body Meeting! Come learn more about APhA's new subset Operation Mental Health! At the first GBM we will talk about what to expect from the organization, get to know student expectations and have a brief informational on the premise of the organization. 9/22

Sign Up For the VIP Case Competition - Industry Pharmacy Organization! If you are interested in gaining industry experience and insight into what industry professionals do on a day to day basis. We are taking part in a national competition against other pharmacy schools! We will create a placebo drug plan from the phases of clinical trials all the way to post marketing of the drug.This looks GREAT on resumes and is a great point to talk about in interviews. SCCP's First General Body Meeting: Interested in clinical pharmacy? Want to learn more about what it means to be a clinical pharmacist? Looking to get involved in new upcoming professional pharmacy organization ?Come out to SCCP's first general body meeting on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th from 1-2 in STC 145! Pie a Brother of Phi Delta Chi! Phi Delta Chi will be holding a fundraiser for St. Jude this Thursday 9/22 between 1-3 PM outside of Rosenberger Hall in Clark Park. Minimum $3 for one brother, and $5 for two. 9/19

Narcan Training! SJU is offering Narcan training on Thursday, October 6th @ 5pm. This is open to staff, faculty and especially students. The registration link is HERE. Sarah Laurel from Savage Sisters Recovery, a Philadelphia based Non Profit Organization, will be facilitating the training. P2's and P3's. Financial Aid Presentation next Friday at 12:30! Ms. Pam Ramanathan will present her annual financial aid presentation on Friday 12/23 at 12:30 PM on Zoom. She normally gives this presentation during class meetings but we didn't have time this year. Although encouraged, attendance at this presentation is NOT REQUIRED. P1 students - leadership opportunity! Are you a current P1 student interested in learning more about the PharmD accreditation process and looking for a leadership opportunity? The PharmD program will be undergoing an accreditation site visit in April 2023 and Dr. Bowen is chairing the self-study as we prepare for the visit. We are looking for a P1 student to serve as the “Accreditation Student Liaison”. The student will be working with Dr. Bowen and the current P3 and P4 liaisons to keep PharmD students updated and involved in the self-study process, and prepare for the site visit.
