Interweave shortlisted for HSJ Digital Award Interweave Shared Care Record, a platform hosted and owned by our Trust, has been shortlisted for a highly coveted HSJ Digital Award 2025. Walk to promote Safer Sleep Week brings information and smiles to the areaStaff from Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Hull and East Riding 0-19 integrated specialist public health nurse services (ISPHNs/IPHNs) completed a 9-mile walk to raise awareness about the 9 safer sleep guidelines recommended for babies. The event saw teams walking between various Family Hubs, Children’s Centres, museums, and shopping centres, providing essential information to parents and caregivers about safer sleep and infant feeding. Loneliness and isolation are pressing issues that affect people of all ages and backgrounds. The COVID-19 pandemic has only intensified these challenges, particularly in Hull, where around 13% of adults reported feeling lonely in 2020. This rate is higher than in neighbouring regions, highlighting a unique challenge for the city. To address this, our Research Team is partnering with Imperial College London and Hull City Council. Together, we are conducting the INTERACT study to explore how loneliness is influenced by one's living environment. This research aims to provide valuable insights that can help shape future services and interventions. ![]() Health Stars Golf Day – Supporting the Better Days Appeal Join us on Thursday, 1st May 2025, for the Health Stars Golf Day, raising vital funds for the Better Days Appeal. This initiative will rejuvenate the day room on Fitzwilliam Ward, Malton Community Hospital, creating a more comfortable and welcoming space for patients. Friends and Family Test The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. It provides a mechanism to highlight patient experience and is vital in transforming NHS services, supporting patient choice and implementing changes based on your feedback. Each month we will be sharing patient experiences from our different services, alongside a patient comment. 95.86% of respondents thought they were involved in their care and listened to within our Children's and Learning Disability Division in February. "Helping me to navigate my feelings and providing me with coping strategies, listening to how I am feeling and responding in a way that made me feel at ease".
