New Announcements

Science & Health Career Fair at University City - Friday, March 31st! This fair is open to all SJU undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, and alumni seeking opportunities in science and healthcare. Starting in February, students will be able to see registered employers on Handshake. There are also Resume Review Days leading up to the Science & Health Career Fair: By appointment on March 23rd and no appointment needed for in-person on March 24th; students should login to Handshake to secure a time for a 15-minute, virtual or in-person resume review for the 23rd. Clinical Research Elective APPE - Penn Internal Medicine. Interested in research and ambulatory care? Dr. Munger and Dr. Zupec are offering an elective APPE focused on conducing a research/quality improvement project. No previous research experience is necessary. The end goal is to create a poster for presentation at a professional meeting. IPPE and APPE Lottery Labs for IPPE and APPE scheduling assistance. Hello P1, P2, and P3 students! The Office of Experiential Programs will be holding lottery labs to assist students with their IPPE and APPE scheduling (lottery) process. Please do not attend a lab during class time. USCIENCES EMAIL NO LONGER WORKS! We have come to the point where your USciences email no longer works. This means any email that is being sent to your USciences email address you will no longer have access to.This includes anything that is sent through CORE. ISO absence requests (PRX courses) for spring 2023 religious holidays! We welcome students of all faiths in our pharmacy program and we want you to be able to celebrate the religious holidays that are important to you! If you need to miss class during the spring 2023 semester for a religious holiday, the best time to submit an excused absence request for that holiday is ASAP. Per the PCP Student Handbook, religious holidays must be requested by the end of the third week of the SEMESTER for ALL modules occurring in that semester (and the week prior to the start of the first module if the religious holiday falls within the first module of the semester). Requests received after these time frames will be considered unexcused, so please get those submitted as soon as you can so you don't miss the deadline. Thank you! Posted by Dr. Waite. 1/12

Job opportunity! - Cooper University Hospital is looking for part-time pharmacy technicians! The technician will be responsible for accurately and timely preparing and dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Projected hours would be 13 hr/week, every other weekend, and 2 holidays. Potential employees must have a current NJ registration registered with the NJ Board of Pharmacy or be able to obtain one once hired.
