Register for the New Charles Sturt Business Directory Get your business listed for free! We are very excited to announce we will be launching a local business directory in February 2026! We have received over 100 registrations so far. Are you a City of Charles Sturt business? Make it easier for customers, visitors and other local businesses to find you by registering for our free online Business Directory. The directory showcases local businesses across the city and helps promote shopping local, collaboration and connection within our business community. It’s quick to register, easy to update, and completely free. Register your business below to feature in our directory launch. GO Henley supports local economyHenley Beach came alive as the City proudly hosted the Santos Tour Down Under for the first time, welcoming thousands of residents, visitors and cycling fans to the foreshore. The GO Henley event created a vibrant festival atmosphere with family-friendly activities, pop-up dining and local business offers, with an estimated 25,000 people visiting Henley Square throughout the morning. We extend a big thank you to our local business community for embracing the event and helping bring the precinct to life, alongside Council staff and delivery partners. GO Henley was also supported by the State and Federal Governments’ Algal Bloom Summer Plan, funded through the South Australian Tourism Commission’s Algal Bloom Event Support Fund. Adelaide Beaches Tourism Marketing SupportThe Adelaide Beaches website is the key destination for visitors looking for things to see, do and experience across Western Adelaide. There is no cost to list your business on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW), and ATDW listings are automatically featured on the Adelaide Beaches website. An active ATDW listing is also required to participate in initiatives such as the Coast is Calling voucher program. Hospitality and tourism businesses in Grange, West Lakes, Henley Beach and surrounds are encouraged to review and update their ATDW listing annually, particularly ahead of major events like LIV Golf Adelaide. Woodville North Employment Precinct: Business Engagement Underway The City of Charles Sturt is commencing targeted engagement with businesses and landowners in the Woodville North Employment Precinct to support revitalisation, regeneration and future employment growth. The project will build Council’s understanding of current and future employment land uses, infrastructure capacity and the local business mix, while identifying development constraints, investment opportunities and support needs. Engagement will also focus on workforce needs and connections to initiatives such as the Western Adelaide Jobs Expo and Workforce Australia Local Jobs Adelaide North, reinforcing Council’s commitment to strong local employment precincts and long-term economic growth.
