Important Announcement About Spill the Pills. 

We are in the process of changing all current PCP faculty, staff and students emails to their sju.emails. PCP students include undergraduate, PharmD, and graduate students. FYI: SJU Academic Requirements for Dean's List and Latin Honors at graduation! Heads up that the SJU academic requirements to be named to the Dean's List and to receive Latin honors at graduation are different from the requirements at USciences! To make the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a semester in which they complete at least 15 credits at SJU and have no grades below "B". The cumulative GPA requirements to receive Latin honors at graduation are calculated only on the coursework completed at SJU, and are as follows: summa cum laude 3.85; magna cum laude 3.70; cum laude 3.50. ICYMI: COVID-19 Requirements for the SJU Community - please read! COVID-19 is still with us (ugh) and we want to minimize the impact on PCP as much as possible! Please follow the SJU COVID-19 Guidelines listed below. 1) All students, faculty and staff are required to provide verification of a COVID-19 primary vaccination or receive an approved exemption prior to the fall 2022 semester, if not already submitted through Qualtrics (deadline: Sept 6). 2) Boosters are not required by the University, but highly encouraged. 3) CARRY A MASK AT ALL TIMES, wearing one in the Student Health Center and when asked by a fellow Hawk. 4) Testing is only required when symptoms develop. 5) Follow CDC guidance for symptoms or exposures. 6) Report positive test results and take appropriate next steps. RxPharmacist internship program for P4's! We once again are excited to sponsor our 2022 Pharmacy Graduate Internship program to your 4th year graduating pharmacy students! We have always provided our internship program to offer students the opportunity to work remotely on their own schedule and hours since 2017. As the coronavirus may have unfortunately affected students short-term career plans such as residencies or fellowships, we hope to offer our internship program to support them as much as possible during this time of uncertainty. You may view testimonials from some of our previous interns HERE. New White Coats are Coming! We are currently in the process of ordering SJU PCP branded white coats. The priority is for P1's white coat ceremony. 2022 White Coat Ceremony! The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 10 AM in the ARC Bobby Morgan Arena. All are welcome! 8/22

Professional Service Opportunity for U1 to P4 Students! The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy has been asked to identify a few student pharmacists to serve on one of the following panels:

1. LGBTQ+ Experiences in Professional School • Mon, Nov. 7 (6-7 pm ET, 5-6 pm CT, 4-5 pm MT, 3-4 pm PT)
2. Experiences of Students with Disabilities in Professional School • Wed, Nov. 9 (6-7 pm ET, 5-6 pm CT, 4-5 pm MT, 3-4 pm PT) •
3. Students with physical, auditory, sensory, cognitive, neurological, or speech disabilities.

This activity will be great to add to your CV! We can only submit 1-3 PCP students’ names. If you are interested, contact Dr. Thomas (tthomas@sju.edu) by 8/26. If you decide to submit your name, you'll need to share (with me, or directly to an AACP staff member) a few statements describing why you are interested in participating in this session, insights you'd like to share with session attendees, and any other information you think will help you to stand out during the selection process.
