Turimetta kept this quiet for 220 million years!
Recent rock and sand movement at Turimetta has exposed some rather interesting trace fossils. To spot them, head down at low tide and when conditions have moved sand off the beach.

Golden Glory Pea
This glorious pea is currently in flower across the Northern Beaches. But beware, it looks very similar to this month's baddie, also in bloom, the Cape Broom.
Cape Broom
This exotic escapee moves rapidly from gardens to bushland and is now a major pest. Looking similar to many native pea flowers, it can no longer be sold in NSW.
