Tickets on Sale for PCP Gala 2025!

PCP Gala is happening on Saturday, February 22nd from 6-10 PM in the Cardinal Foley Center on HH. Includes food, DJ/dancing, mocktails, photo-booth and 3 drink tickets for beer/wine/seltzer (21 years of age and older). Transportation provided to/from from U City. Cost is just $15 for PCP students/faculty/staff and $60 for non-PCP guests. Gala is made possible through a generous donation from Walgreens. Reminder to Apply to Graduate

Students who are projected to graduate in May 2025 must Apply to Graduate. Your degree cannot be awarded and you can't participate in the commencement ceremony without this. The deadline to apply is March 1, 2025. You can find the application on the Student tab in The Nest under Graduation & Commencement. 2/6

Now Accepting Application - APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders

We are now accepting applications from P1 and P2 pharmacy students interested in attending the APhA Institute on Substance Use Disorders scheduled on May 28th - May 31st in Salt Lake City, Utah. Students and faculty who attend consistently describe this as a highly meaningful and educational experience. Partial funding support is available for students who are selected. 2025 Annual Research Day 

The 2025 Annual Research Day will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:30-8 p.m. at University City in the Athletic/Recreation Center (ARC). Research Day is a University-wide poster session meant to recognize students’ research and scholarly efforts and highlight aspects of faculty endeavors in any discipline or focus. Students and faculty are invited to submit their abstracts for inclusion in the event. The abstract submission form is now open through Monday, March 10, 2025. You must include an IRB, IACUC and/or IBC protocol number and approval date (if applicable). Posted by Dean Foote. 2/6

ISO pharmacy students for spring 2025 recruitment events!

It's that time of year... to recruit new pharmacy students to join the PCP pharmily! We are looking for students who are interested in helping with Admitted Student Days (and other periodic events) this spring. Admitted Student Days are Sunday, February 16; Saturday, March 15; and Saturday April 5, and students would be engaging in interactive activities in the patient care simulation suite, community and inpatient pharmacies in the IPEX 3rd floor. Time commitment is approximately 12:30-3pm on each day. If you are interested, please submit this Google form and Dr. Waite will be in touch with you as each event gets closer. If you are interested in being on a list for possible recruitment events that come up during the semester, fill out the form and select that option, and Dr. Waite will be in touch with opportunities as they arise. The Delaware Valley Society of Health System Pharmacists (DVSHP) has arranged a celebratory night in which those who want to join have the opportunity to present posters on health-system pharmacy.
