Breaking Sector News

The CRA has just released the finalized guidance on granting to non-qualified donees. The Income Tax Act was amended in late 2022 to allow granting to non-qualified donees. Feedback from the PFC network and many of our partners and members have been instrumental in the development of these guidelines, which were written by the government to help charities understand and apply the new rules to their own work. Have a look at the new guidelines here, and stay tuned for more information from us in 2024 on the new guidelines and what they mean for the PFC network.
