Global cotton production is forecast to outpace consumption in the 2024/25 season, according to the latest update from the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). Cotton Australia has joined the National Farmers’ Federation’s (NFF) election call for $50 million over five years to support national programs focused on farmer mental health and wellbeing. Cotton Australia will also join the NFF’s new Coalition for Mental Health and Wellbeing in Agriculture. Applications for the 2026 Nuffield Scholarship program close on 16 May.
