Please join us for our West Hartford Republican Town Committee (RTC) meeting this Monday, April 15, at 7:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE:  For the April meeting, our location needs to change as there are no rooms available tomorrow at the West Hartford Town Hall.  Instead, our meeting will be held at THE CORNER PUG RESTAURANT, 1046 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford.

Now that we have our newly elected RTC members, we have assigned our members to at least one of our six committees (Fundraising, Marketing, Recruiting, ByLaw, Candidate Support and Election Day).  We will discuss the roles/responsibilities for each committee and our strategy around each committee.

We'll then hear from members of our Fundraising Committee who will discuss our upcoming Trivia Night fundraiser and our annual BBQ fundraiser.

We'll also hear from members of our Marketing Committee to provide an update on the communication of our Israel Support Resolution.

Once again, our mayor (in her infinite wisdom) has chosen to hold a Town Council meeting/public hearing on the same day as our RTC meeting, so we will not have our Republican Town Council members present.  However, I'm hoping to get a brief report from our Minority Leader, Mark Zydanowicz to update the RTC.  We'll also hear from our Board of Ed representatives, our Registrar of Voters and a report from our State Central representative.

PLEASE NOTE:  Toward the end of our meeting, we will hear from David LaPointe.  David is a Republican candidate looking to run against John Larson in the US Congressional First District.
