COVID-19 | Update for Haydon Residents and Families No images? Click here 31 January 2022 Dear Resident and Family Members, COVID-19 Update - Calvary Haydon Further to our last communication, I am writing to let you know that we have now completed Rapid Antigen Testing on all residents and they have returned negative. Based on this result, we are pleased to inform you that we are able to lift some of the current restrictions for residents for parts of the home. Unfortunately St Margaret’s residents will need to remain in their rooms and no visitation is allowed at this time. Visitation exceptions may be made for residents receiving end of life care, or who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided. Please speak with the manager of your home to discuss arrangements. All other households are permitted to move about their own areas and nominated visitors are permitted entry effective immediately. The next round of resident testing in St Margaret’s will occur on 2 February. Given the ongoing high demand for community testing, we are not able to confirm a timeframe for when we will receive results. As all test results come to hand, we will continue to liaise closely with the Public Health Unit, regarding the next steps and communicate with you as soon as possible. What happens now? Calvary will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We anticipate our next update to residents and families will be following receipt of test results unless there are any changes that need to be communicated before then. As a precaution, our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19. We thank residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.
