Further to our recent communication, I am writing to let you know that no further positive COVID-19 cases have been identified from the round of testing conducted with residents on 25 January 2022. Sadly, we have had a resident pass away in relation to COVID. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family and loved ones at this time. After recent discussions with the Public Health Unit, we have been advised that residents are now able to move about the Millers Wing. This will be conducted in a co-horted approach with residents brought to communal areas twice daily while adhering to COVID safe measures. Meals will continue to be served in resident’s rooms with staff in PPE. We can now confirm that the next round of resident testing at Calvary Trugo Place will occur today, 27 January 2022. High demand for community testing continues, so we are not able confirm a timeframe for when we will receive results. Calvary Trugo Place remains closed for general visitation. We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We thank residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.
