Engineering professor Pooja Viswanathan and chemistry professor Marcus Drover received New Frontiers in Research Fund grants to develop AI-supported mobility devices and sustainable greenhouse technologies based on the experiences of the people who use them.

Schulich Medicine & Dentistry clinician-scientists are advancing patient care by leading clinical trials in partnership with health-care partners across London, exploring everything from weekly insulin treatments to less invasive kidney cancer therapies to robotic-assisted spine surgery.

Daisy Chan, BHSc’26, developed NourishWell, an app that helps people with developmental disabilities build healthy eating habits through guided recipes and cooking tutorials.

Ran Jiang, a PhD candidate in the Don Wright Faculty of Music, worked with high school students in Henan, China, to rethink the accessibility of musical instruments and develop new versions using computer software and DIY electronics.
